A study app built from my own Thai lessons

I've had weekly Thai lessons with a tutor since February 2026. Instead of a generic course, this app turns my lesson notes and homework into practice: over 2,000 cards from more than 40 lessons, plus drills for the Thai script and tones. Thai script only, no romanization.

It's invite-only for now. Request access and I'll email you an invite.

Home screen: a tile for each practice mode, with this week's practice time

Flashcards with spaced repetition

Every word and sentence from my lessons, in both directions. Grading a card schedules its next review (an SM-2 variant), and it reads the Thai aloud with the device's Thai voice.

Typing on the Thai keyboard

Translate from English, copy the Thai, or type what you hear. In copy mode an on-screen keyboard lights up the next key, which is how I learned the layout.

Tones, step by step

Thai spelling decides the tone. The drill walks through consonant class, live or dead syllable, and vowel length, using the one-syllable words from my own cards, so every lesson adds examples.

Lesson uploads read by AI

I upload my tutor's PDFs and my homework. An AI model reads the page images and returns structured JSON, which becomes a draft lesson I review before it reaches practice.

Two roles, enforced in the database

I own the content; my tutor can read every lesson and practice with their own progress. Postgres row-level security enforces it, not just the UI.

A small Thai toolkit

Code that reads a Thai syllable (class, vowel, final, tone mark) to work out its tone, plus Thai numbers, prices, and clock times.
